YMCA of Lethbridge Lifeguard Certification Scholarship
The YMCA of Lethbridge pays the full cost of the lifeguarding ladder for two applicants each year: Bronze Medallion, Bronze Cross, National Lifeguard, Pool and Waterpark certification, and Standard First Aid with CPR C. The package runs to roughly $1,800 a person.
This is training rather than tuition, and it ends with a certification that the YMCA itself hires for, so it is closer to a paid route into a job than to a scholarship. You must be 16 by the first of January, attend every course in the following year with full participation, and agree to have your photo used. Applications go through a Microsoft Forms link rather than the school.
