Elsie Alexander Work and Volunteer Scholarship
A $500 scholarship from the Lethbridge and District Pro-Life Association recognising work or volunteer service rather than a written submission. It is open to Grade 12 students who have shown leadership in encouraging respect for all human life. The association gives four awards a year, and this is the service half of the pair set aside for high school students.
The 2026 cycle has closed and the association had not posted a 2027 date when this was checked in August 2026, so there is no deadline here to plan against. They run a newsletter that announces when applications reopen. The association draws its area wide: north to Nanton and Vulcan, east to the Saskatchewan border, south to the United States border, and west to the British Columbia border. You can apply for both of the Grade 12 awards, this one and the Elsie Alexander essay scholarship, in the same year.
