Ringette players, coaches and officials heading to post-secondary study
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Ringette Canada gives a variable number of $1,000 awards to people who have shown a strong commitment to the sport, whichever side of the boards they are on.
Coaches and officials qualify alongside players, which is unusual and useful: refereeing or coaching a younger division counts as commitment to the sport here. Ringette Canada’s board decides how many are given in a year, so the number is not fixed. Named for the widow of the sport’s founder, who spent decades promoting it.
