ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The Town of Okotoks funds two awards of $800, one to a male and one to a female student, for the second highest blended average across Math 30-1 or 30-2, English 30-1, Social Studies 30-1 or 30-2, Chemistry 30, Biology 30, Physics 30 and optionally Science 30.
This is the rare award written for the runner up rather than the top student, which makes it winnable by someone who would never take a top-average prize. A letter of acceptance must reach the scholarship committee before it is presented.
