TD Scholarship for Indigenous Peoples

NATIONAL
WHO CAN APPLY
First Nations, Métis and Inuit students applying to a full-time post-secondary program of two years or more

TD and AFOA Canada give 25 Indigenous students a year up to $60,000 over four years: up to $10,000 a year toward tuition plus $5,000 a year for living costs.

Applications open in fall 2026 through AFOA Canada, for funding that starts in September 2027, so this round is the one for current Grade 12 students. You must be a member or citizen of a First Nation, Métis or Inuit community, a citizen or permanent resident, and have applied to a full-time program of at least two years. Winners must complete a paid four-month term at TD each year. The 2025 round ran October 1 to November 5 and no 2026 dates are posted yet; AFOA answers questions at td-scholarships@afoa.ca.
