ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
St. Oscar Romero recognizes its top grade 10 student with a cash award presented at the Academic Awards Ceremony. Applicants submit a biography covering their involvement in the school over the last one year, and grades are only one of five things weighed.
Extracurricular activity, consistently above average grades, leadership, regular attendance and religious leadership in the school are all named, so a student strong in four of the five is still competitive. Almost every other award in this directory is closed to students below grade 12.
