Henrick Solheim and Andy Haugen Bursary
One bursary of $200 for a Bachelor of Commerce student, with entering pre-law students named as the second priority. If no suitable commerce applicant appears, it may go to a student intending a career in law. Athletics, performing arts and leadership activities are all considered.
Pre-law is almost never named in an Alberta entrance award, because law is a second-degree programme here. A student who says plainly that law is the plan has a real advantage on this one. Northwestern Polytechnic's standard award criteria require two full semesters already completed at NWP, which shuts most of its 359 awards to a student coming straight out of grade 12. Entrance awards are the exception and this is one of them. Applications sit in your NWP account document library once you are admitted.
