ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
One $500 award from Airdrie Minor Basketball for a current or former AMBA player who is enrolled full time in a post-secondary program. It is named for Sean Smith and marks sportsmanship and team spirit rather than scoring. The application is a short essay, and proof of enrolment is required before the money is paid out.
AMBA's page still advertises the 2023-24 window, January 8 to February 26, so this date is that cycle rolled forward and worth confirming in January. Essays are stripped of names before the committee reads them. A past AMBA scholarship winner cannot win again.
