Indigenous students from the rural Wood Buffalo communities
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
Three awards of $1,600 for Indigenous students in any Keyano programme, with preference to those living in the Indigenous and rural communities of Wood Buffalo now or immediately before starting college. Where more students qualify than there are awards, recipients are chosen at random.
The random selection is unusual and it works in your favour: if you meet the criteria you are in a lottery rather than a ranking, so a weaker transcript does not push you down. Any Indigenous student is eligible if the rural preference cannot be filled.
HOW TO APPLY
