ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
This $800 award recognizes Alberta residents who compete on designated provincial junior sports teams (ACAC and AUAA sanctioned) and are entering post-secondary studies. To qualify, applicants must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and apply through Alberta Student Aid.
Your team coach nominates you, you do not apply on your own. Nominations reach Alberta Student Aid by January 15. Applications reopen in early August. You submit a transcript and an essay on your extracurriculars and goals.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school before January 15, 2027.
