Worth knowing

There is nothing to fill in. Recipients are drawn from the pool of Alexander Rutherford applicants, so applying for the Rutherford is the entire application, and only the first writing of each diploma exam counts. A rewrite cannot put you back in contention, so weigh that before you rewrite for a higher Rutherford total. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents or protected persons.

A $2,500 top-up the province gives to the ten highest-scoring students in Alberta, identified from the first writing of the diploma exams.
