🤝 Royal Canadian Legion Branch 54 Bursary

Four bursaries of $750 for students who have completed Grade 12, are residents of the City or County of Grande Prairie graduating from a local high school, and are descended from a veteran. The award is open to any program of post-secondary study.

Four bursaries, and the ancestry test is wider than most students assume: a grandparent or great-grandparent who served is usually enough, and the branch will tell you if you are unsure. Any program of study qualifies, which is rarer than it sounds among Legion awards. This is last cycle's August deadline rolled forward a year, since the branch had not posted the new one when this was checked.
