Rouse Family Relentless Award
For a graduating student who has kept going through real difficulty: the criteria talk about resilience, grit, a steady work ethic, and belief in your own ability to get past an obstacle. There is no marks floor and no field of study attached, which makes it one of the few awards here that a student with an interrupted or difficult few years can genuinely win. It is offered at Bellerose, Paul Kane, St. Albert Catholic, Outreach and St. Gabriel.
You do not apply for this one directly; the school nominates. That makes the useful step telling the staff who would put your name forward that you are interested, well before the grad awards are decided.
