Worth knowing
The application wants your date of birth and Social Insurance Number along with transcripts, two references and a full list of your other funding, so it asks for more personal information than most.
About this scholarship
Robert Allan Ltd. funds up to $5,000 a year toward tuition for a Canadian student in naval architecture or marine engineering. Winners are announced in August and the money goes to tuition only. The undergraduate routes require at least two satisfactorily completed years in a recognized university degree in naval architecture, or mechanical engineering focused on naval architecture or marine engineering. Alternatively, at least two years of a higher technical college course in naval architecture before a naval architecture or marine engineering degree. The postgraduate route requires a completed engineering degree and enrollment in a postgraduate naval architecture or marine engineering degree.
