Worth knowing
The Canadian Energy Executive Association runs several awards through the Calgary Foundation, and some other CEEA awards also accept first-year diploma students. You need a GPA of at least 2.7 or 70%.
About this scholarship
One or more awards of $8,500 for diploma programs and $10,000 for degree programs, available for up to two years in total for diploma programs or four years for degree programs. It is for a First Nations, Metis or Inuit student going directly into first year of a full-time petroleum-focused program such as petroleum, mechanical or chemical engineering, geology, geophysics, or the matching engineering technology diplomas.
