ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A municipal award from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo recognising young citizens. Nominees must have lived in the municipality for at least a year and must be under eighteen at the time of nomination.
The age cap is unusual and it cuts the other way from most awards: turning eighteen makes you ineligible, so a grade 12 student with a late birthday should be nominated early. The municipality sets the value and the nomination window each year.
