Worth knowing

The age cap matters. Turning eighteen makes you ineligible, so a grade 12 student with a late birthday should be nominated early. The municipality sets the value and the nomination window each year.

About this scholarship

A municipal award from the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo recognising young citizens. Nominees must have lived in the municipality for at least a year and must be under eighteen at the time of nomination.

Email me when the date is posted

We send one link to confirm, then an email when a confirmed deadline is posted and reminders before it closes.
We store your address only to send these reminders, and delete it the moment you unsubscribe.
What we keep

Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. We never sell or trade it. The full privacy policy.
