Ray Jolliffe Memorial Scholarship
Established by the Jolliffe family in 2008 to recognize Ray Jolliffe and his contribution to theatre production in Lethbridge. The scholarship is worth $3,000 and goes annually to a Canadian student studying theatre production design and management, or media production and design, at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution. The Allied Arts Council of Lethbridge manages it on behalf of the family, with the funding held by the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta.
The Allied Arts Council lists March 31 as the deadline without tying it to a year, so this looks like a fixed annual date rather than one cycle. It is a behind-the-scenes theatre award rather than a performance one, so the eligible programs are narrower than they first sound: production design and management, or media production and design.
