PLCAC Student Award Program
An award from the Pipe Line Contractors Association of Canada for the sons, daughters and wards of people whose principal income comes from the pipeline construction industry.
Directly relevant in Alberta, where pipeline construction employs a lot of parents, and it has helped more than 400 students since 1974. Two conditions do the work: your parent or guardian must draw their principal income from the pipeline construction industry, AND that parent must be employed by, or have a history of employment with, a company that is a member of the PLCAC, so check the association's membership directory before you spend time on the form. Your own program can lead to a diploma or degree in ANY field at a recognized Canadian college or university, and post-graduate students are considered too. The PLCAC does not publish the award value, so none is claimed here. The 2026 window runs September 17 to October 19, 2026. Contact plcac@pipeline.ca or 905-847-9383.
