Burger King Scholars Program
A North American program that has awarded nearly $64 million to over 55,000 students, and it is open to Canadians rather than US-only. The bar is deliberately low: a 2.0 cumulative average on a 4.0 scale, with selection weighing work experience, extracurriculars, community service and financial need alongside marks.
Employment at a Burger King restaurant is not required for the general track. The 2025 cycle ran October 15 to December 15 and the program describes its 2026 details as tentative, so treat the autumn window as the shape to watch rather than a confirmed date. Awards can be used at an accredited college, university or vocational school in Canada or the United States.
