Fort McMurray high school band students in any grade
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

Awards of $300 in each of three categories, woodwinds, percussion and brass, recognising three students at each of the three Fort McMurray high schools. You do not have to be in grade 12, and a music teacher nominates you.

This is one of very few awards in the province open to a grade 10 or 11 student. Nomination comes from your music teacher, and the only thing you write is a short essay on your interest in music and your band experience.

HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
