Worth knowing

This is one of very few awards in the province open to a grade 10 or 11 student. Nomination comes from your music teacher, and the only thing you write is a short essay on your interest in music and your band experience. School band participation is required, but a future music major is not required.

About this scholarship

Awards of $300 in each of three categories, woodwinds, percussion and brass, recognising three students at each of the three Fort McMurray high schools. You do not have to be in grade 12, and a music teacher nominates you.
