Worth knowing

There is no application. The scholarship committee selects the winner. The handbook is explicit that in a tie every tied student receives the full award with no division of the money. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year.

About this scholarship

The Okotoks Lions Club pays $1,000 to the student with the highest mark on the Mathematics 30-1 diploma examination, or the school mark if diploma exams are not run that year.
