Worth knowing
Applications close September 15, a bare repeating date rather than one tied to a year, and they go to the Lions club directly by email or post, not through a school. That places it after graduation, when most students have stopped looking.
About this scholarship
The Fort Saskatchewan Lions Club run this in memory of Lion Don Westman, and their published recipient lists show it going to students from Fort Saskatchewan High School and St. André Bessette Catholic High School in alternating pairs each year. The application is a downloadable form sent to the club. It is not in the school awards package.
