ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A $2,500 award for a student entering the first year of the Bachelor of Science programme at Red Deer Polytechnic, with preference given to a female student planning a career in optometry.
Red Deer Polytechnic runs one General Application that closes May 31 and puts you in the running for every award you qualify for, so this is one box on a form rather than a separate submission. Optometry is a preference rather than a condition, so a science student with another career in mind is still eligible. It is the largest science entrance award on the list.
