Knights of Columbus Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarships

Twelve scholarships of $1,500 a year, renewable for up to four years, for Knights of Columbus members in Canada and their sons and daughters entering first year of a bachelor's degree.

Funded by the Fourth Degree but open to the family of ANY Knights of Columbus member in Canada, not just Fourth Degree members, which is the detail most council notices leave out. You must be entering freshman year of a four-year bachelor's degree at a Canadian college or university, and be a member in good standing, or the son or daughter of a member, including a member who died in good standing. Awarded on academic excellence and renewable each year of undergraduate study to a maximum of four. Applications go through the ISTS portal at aim.applyISTS.net/KofC using program key KofC; use a personal email address, not a school one, because school addresses expire at graduation. The Knights do not publish a deadline on this page, so confirm the date through ISTS or your council before relying on it. Verified against kofc.org on 2026-09-08.
