SCHOLARSHIP TRADES DEADLINE TBA
High River Rotary Club Fabrication Studies Service Above Self Award
OKOTOKS
WHO CAN APPLY
A Foothills Composite fabrication student going into the mechanical trades
ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
The High River Rotary Club pays $500 to a graduating student with first class standing in Fabrication Studies who is heading into the mechanical trades and has shown involvement in shop based community projects and in the community itself, in the Rotary spirit of service above self.
It has a sibling award at the same value judged on work ethic instead, and nothing stops you being considered for both, so a fabrication student should make the case on both grounds.
HOW TO APPLY
1 Talk to your school guidance counsellor about this award.
2 Ask about internal school deadlines, which can be earlier than the listed one.
3 Submit your application through your school.
