🤝 Colin McKenna Memorial Scholarship

One $500 award from Airdrie Minor Basketball for someone who gave time to the association off the court, as a coach, referee, volunteer or board member, and is now enrolled full time in post-secondary study. It honours Colin McKenna's work building basketball in Airdrie. The application is a short essay judged blind.

This is the one to read twice: it is not for players. If you have refereed a season of mini ball or helped run a tournament, you are the intended applicant, and almost nobody applies. AMBA's page still shows the 2023-24 window of January 8 to February 26, so this date is that cycle rolled forward.
