Worth knowing

Because each foundation backs a student from its own area, your home town decides which one you approach, whether Claresholm, Vulcan, High River, Nanton, Diamond Valley, Okotoks or the rural areas around them. The four-year funding commitment is for the first 2026 cohort. Applicants must come from the rural service area extending up to 130 km north of Claresholm toward Calgary, excluding major urban centres.
