ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

One award of $1,000 from the Oil Sands Branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy for a first-year Bachelor of Science in Engineering student who is a permanent resident of Fort McMurray. Proof of residency and a letterhead volunteer reference are both required.

The award commemorates the fourteen women killed at Ecole Polytechnique in 1989. Marks and extracurricular activity split the score evenly.
