Chestermere High School students in Grades 10 to 12

About this scholarship

Chestermere High School's awards program recognizes students in every grade. The cash awards include the Highest Academic Achievement awards by grade ($300 in Grade 12, $200 in Grade 11), the Principal's Scholarship ($300), the Extra Mile award for a Grade 12 student ($250), the Debbie Berdusco Memorial Most Improved Student award ($200) and Outstanding Citizenship ($50). Most of the other forty or so awards, such as honour roll, subject, athletics, fine arts, music and culinary awards, are recognition rather than money.

Worth knowing

There is nothing to apply for: teachers nominate students and the awards are handed out at the school's year-end ceremony. Academic awards need at least a 75% average, a student can win only one major award, and special projects, work experience and course challenges do not count.
