ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP

A single $10,000 award from FIRST Robotics Canada for a young woman who has shown leadership and impact through FIRST programs and STEM activities.

The largest of the FIRST Canada national scholarships, and a single award, so the field is competitive. You must have taken part in a FIRST program: FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge or the FIRST Robotics Competition. Not renewable. The 2026 deadline was January 31, which is the earliest of the FIRST slate and lands in the middle of Grade 12, so put it in your calendar in the fall rather than the spring. FIRST Canada also runs separate scholarships for skilled trades, Indigenous students, leadership and problem-solving, all listed here, and partner universities in Ontario add their own on top.
