Canadian Hero Fund Scholarships

Scholarships from the Canadian Hero Fund for the children and spouses of Canadian soldiers killed on active duty, in two streams: one for children and one for spousal retraining.

Two streams: a Children's Scholarship, and a Spousal Scholarship aimed at professional retraining. The Fund does not publish award amounts, award counts or a deadline, so nothing is claimed here on any of the three. Applications for the 2026-2027 academic year were being accepted as of 2026-09-08, with forms downloadable from the site and returned by mail or to info@herofund.ca. Reach them at 1-888-602-3071. Overlaps in purpose with the Canada Company Children of the Fallen Scholarship, also listed here; they are separate charities with separate applications, so apply to both rather than picking one.
