🎓 Calgary Black Chambers Business Scholarship

Four awards for Black Canadian citizens or permanent residents in a full-time Commerce or Business Administration degree or diploma, entering second year or beyond: the ATB Community Leadership Scholarship and the KPMG Academic Excellence Scholarship at $5,000, and the Academic Excellence at MRU and TD Business Leadership scholarships at $7,000. It needs a GPA of at least 2.7 or 70 per cent and one reference letter from a business or community leader.

One application is considered for all four awards, so there is nothing to gain from picking one. The geography is wider than the name suggests: a graduate of an Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Diamond Valley, High River, Okotoks, Springbank or Strathmore high school qualifies at any Canadian institution, and everyone else has to be at a Calgary one. The provider had not posted the new cycle when this was checked in August 2026, so this is last cycle's deadline rolled forward.
