Burman University Academic Excellence Scholarship

A renewable entrance award at Burman University in Lacombe, given automatically on the admission average with no application: $3,500 a year at 90 to 94.9 per cent, $2,000 at 85 to 89.9, $1,000 at 80 to 84.9 and $500 at 75 to 79.9. It can be renewed for up to four years of a four-year degree.

No application, but the admission average is calculated from at least five approved academic courses on a government-issued grade 12 transcript, and GED students are not eligible. Above 95 per cent, the President's Award for Superior Academic Achievement applies instead. Burman publishes no calendar date for this one. The university's scholarship submission deadline governs it, and that moves each year, so check the Burman deadlines page once you have an offer of admission.
