About this scholarship
The Bow Island and District Health Foundation funds $500 scholarships in three categories: a high school student entering health care, a student from the service area in second year or later of a health program, and an Alberta Health Services employee upgrading.
Worth knowing
Nursing, pharmacy, pre-med and kinesiology are all named as examples. You are notified at the start of your program but paid after you show evidence that you finished the course or year.
