Nursing, pharmacy, pre-med and kinesiology are all named as examples. You are notified at the start of your program but paid after you show evidence that you finished the course or year.
About this scholarship
The Bow Island and District Health Foundation funds $500 scholarships in three categories, a high school student entering health care, a student from the service area in second year or later of a health program, and an Alberta Health Services employee upgrading.
