Worth knowing

You must be enrolled in a health care aide, nursing, health leadership or allied health program for the coming school year. Apply online between April 1 and June 30, which works for Grade 12 students already accepted into a fall program. Selection weighs your marks, clear career goals and your contribution to continuing care.

Bethany Care Foundation, which runs seniors care in Calgary and central Alberta, gives $2,000 scholarships to students training for health careers.
