Worth knowing

Apply through NUPGE's online scholarship form with an original 750 to 1,000 word essay on the current topic. The family relationship may be to a current or retired member of a NUPGE component or affiliated union, and includes stepchildren and foster children. Study must be full-time or part-time at a public Canadian college or university. The estimated deadline is July 15, 2027. The 2027 date is not published yet; this is last year's date moved forward one year.

About this scholarship

This $2,500 award is for children, grandchildren or legal wards of NUPGE members entering their first year in policing, criminal justice, community services or health care. Selection is based on the essay's content, presentation and response to the assigned topic.
