Worth knowing

Apply through the co-op's online scholarship form before noon on the deadline. Include a typed, double-spaced essay of up to 1,000 words on your study plans and career goals, your post-secondary acceptance letter, your Alberta government transcript once available, and two reference letters from teachers, employers, coaches or religious leaders. Your program must be at least two years long. A committee scores your top five Grade 12 courses, the essay and the references, and applicants hear back by mid September.

About this scholarship

Blue Mountain Power Co-op (formerly Rocky Mountain House REA) awards four $1,000 scholarships a year to Alberta students whose parent or guardian is a member in good standing.
