About this scholarship
Beiseker Community School gives a set of local awards at graduation: the J.H. Schmaltz Memorial Leadership Award ($500), the Kathyrn Beiseker Scholarship Committee Grade 12 Award ($500, best four Grade 12 marks with English 30-1 at 65% or more), the J.G. Schissel Memorial Scholarship ($500, for a graduate with a 70% average and formal music training), the Geysler Memorial ($500, which can recognize a RAP fabrication student), the Beiseker Lions Scholarship ($500, for a Grade 11 student), two Beiseker & District Agricultural Society scholarships ($250 each, for agriculture programs), and the staff Grade 11 and Grade 12 scholarships and outstanding athlete awards ($150 each).
Worth knowing
Most of these are chosen by the school and its scholarship committee rather than applied for; the J.H. Schmaltz Memorial Leadership Award is the one that needs an application, due by June 30 of your Grade 12 year. The page gives no year for its dates, so ask the office which awards are still offered.
