Worth knowing

Unlike the Society's Future Artist award, this one does not require you to continue in the arts. You can be heading into engineering and still qualify. Peer recognition as a mentor is a stated criterion, not a tiebreaker. Unless an award states otherwise, applicants must be Canadian citizens and have lived in Alberta for at least one year. Applicants must pursue post-secondary studies in any field.

About this scholarship

The Alberta High School of Fine Arts Society funds four scholarships of $500 for grade 12 students meeting AHSFA graduation requirements who have shown hard work and professionalism in developing their craft and are recognised by peers as positive mentors.
