Alberta secondary students, entering through a Regional Skills Canada Competition, an online qualifier, or in-school selection where a skill is not offered regionally
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
Hands-on competition across more than 40 trade and technology areas, including welding, carpentry, electrical, culinary, baking, web and graphic design, robotics, animation, photography and hairstyling. Regional and qualifying rounds feed the Provincial Skills Canada Competition (May 5–6, 2027), and the highest scorers are invited to join Team Alberta at nationals. Registration usually opens in January.
