ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 award from Xerox Canada for a Northern Lights graduate entering a recognised business or entrepreneurship program, needing an overall grade 12 average of 65% or better. Priority goes to applicants who intend to return to their home community to start a local business, which is the rare case of an award that rewards planning to come back to a small town rather than leave it.
A Northern Lights Public Schools award, so every high school in the division competes for it, Cold Lake High included. Two recommendation letters are required, one from your principal and one from a teacher, so ask both well before mid-June.
