Worth knowing
Sport is the first category the foundation lists, and the funds run well past hockey. Basketball, fastball, curling and the Alberta Summer Games all have their own.
How the Northwestern Alberta Foundation form works
One universal application covers every fund the Northwestern Alberta Foundation holds, so there is nothing separate to file. The foundation publishes the fund names but keeps each fund's value and criteria inside the portal, which shows what you qualify for once you submit.
19 awards listed here go through it.
