Worth knowing

Read what this is before applying: Volleyball Alberta lists it under Financial Assistance beside KidSport and Jumpstart, and it pays up to $750 toward the cost of a Team Alberta program, not post-secondary study. You have to be selected to a Team Alberta indoor or beach program first, then apply on financial need. The fund is described on the Team Alberta pages, which is why the link points there; the public awards page lists Hugh Hoyles only as a Hall of Fame builder.

About this scholarship

Need-based help with the cost of playing in a Team Alberta volleyball program, not money for school. It offsets fees such as training, Canada Cup travel, accommodation, meals and gear.
