What we keep
Nothing else is sent until you press the button in the confirmation email. If you never do, the address is deleted within 30 days. Otherwise it goes 60 days after the deadline or the moment you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. A listing with no date keeps it a year at most, and nothing is kept past 18 months. We never sell or trade it. Questions go to hello@scholarab.ca. The full privacy policy.
Worth knowing
You must be in Grade 12 and graduating the year you apply, enrolled in a program that starts before February, and involved in rugby as a player, coach, referee or volunteer. Send the application form, a personal statement of 500 to 750 words on your rugby journey and what the award would do for your studies, proof of enrolment and two references, one of them from rugby. The deadline is the first Monday of September and winners are picked the last Friday of September. The contact is in the Canadian Rugby Foundation awards directory.
About this scholarship
The Stampede 7's Alberta Rugby Society, which runs the Calgary Stampede Sevens tournament, gives two $1,000 awards a year to graduating high school rugby players starting post-secondary, ideally one woman and one man.
