Worth knowing

Mail or deliver the application form to the Vegreville Iron Runners Auto Club, care of William Smolak, so it arrives by September 1. Include a certified statement of marks from your high school, a letter about your plans and why the automotive field suits you, and proof of acceptance into an apprenticeship or post-secondary program. Vegreville Composite students must have taken the school's auto mechanics course, and St. Mary's students must be in Work Experience or RAP in one of the listed trades. Fields include automotive service, heavy duty, agricultural equipment, collision repair and auto parts technician.

About this scholarship

The Vegreville Iron Runners Auto Club gives a $1,000 scholarship, a plaque and a year of club membership to a Vegreville graduate going into an automotive or heavy equipment trade.
