The University of Calgary funds hundreds of continuing awards for students already enrolled, ranging from a few hundred dollars to several thousand, most of them tied to a faculty, a major or a specific course and awarded for academic achievement, financial need or both.
Worth knowing
Many are handed out on nomination with no application at all, so talking to your department adviser matters more than watching deadlines. Others need the university's own award application. Search the registrar's list by your faculty and year rather than reading it end to end.
