Worth knowing

This is a relative-of-a-member award. If a parent, grandparent or guardian is a United Nurses of Alberta member or associate member in good standing, you are eligible. It is for first-year Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse programs only, so it is an entrance award, and it excludes postgraduate study. Up to fifteen are awarded plus one funded by the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions, the essay is a single 300-word answer, and the money is paid the following January once you show proof of full-time first-year registration.
