Worth knowing

Apply through the Scholarship Partners Canada portal with the personal statement and social impact commitment. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, protected persons or Convention refugees, and the program must be at least two years long. TELUS employees and their dependants cannot apply. The estimated deadline is March 27, 2027; the last cycle also closed once 1,500 applications were received. The 2027 date is not published yet; this is last year's date moved forward one year.

About this scholarship

The bursary pays $5,000 for a first bachelor's degree or $3,000 for a first college diploma for students aged 17 to 29 with financial need. Selection considers the personal statement, education and career goals, planned social impact and financial circumstances.
