Worth knowing
Apply through the High School Prestige Awards application in the My UCalgary portal, which opens October 1 and closes December 1. Admissions documents are due December 15. Keeping it needs a 3.20 GPA over at least 24 units each fall and winter. Rogers took its own scholarship page down, and UBC, Waterloo, Toronto Metropolitan, Polytechnique Montreal and UNB run their own selections.
About this scholarship
Two awards a year at the University of Calgary of $25,000, renewable in second, third and fourth year, so up to $100,000. For a high school student entering the Faculty of Science or the Schulich School of Engineering in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering, who is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and has led in school or community life.
