ABOUT THIS SCHOLARSHIP
For a grade 10 student who has shown proficiency and skill in construction and fabrication courses. A trades award aimed at grade 10 is unusual anywhere in Alberta, and it is worth knowing about in grade 9: this is money available two years before the graduating awards open, to a student who has barely started the pathway.
Paul Kane collects this one and its handout gives April 10 as the date, with no year attached, so it is an annual cutoff rather than a one-off. The handout also says every detail in it is subject to change, so confirm the date with Student Services before you plan around it.
